The Foundation’s vocational programme has opened a new intake in Niamey, with ninety places split across welding, solar installation and light mechanics.
Every graduate leaves with the tool set for their trade. Skills without equipment have not, in our experience, translated into work — so the kit is part of the programme rather than an extra.
Applying
Applications are taken in person at the training centre. Priority goes to applicants from households with no current wage earner.
